Mike Isaak is a landscape photographer and carpenter apprentice born in Altona, Manitoba currently based in Edmonton, Alberta. He became interested in photography after buying his first camera for a missions trip to El Salvador in March 2005.

Once introduced to a DSLR a couple years later, that is when his interest in photography started to become a passion. He is self-taught from reading books and articles online. He has learned from other photographers he has met through online forums and is still continuing to learn as a photographer.

Mike loves to spend time in the mountains, camping and hiking, enjoying nature from the smallest bugs to the many different wild animals and landscapes the world has to offer.
